Whichever Marty McFly we employ. But last night we should've been 3 up at half time. Michael Smith led the line well , Townsend didn't have a shot to save. And Jackson posed them problems. I could see why LJ made the tactical switch at half time. He just took the wrong player off.
Good job really. How come he was back in the team? I wonder what the problem is with two strikers? We usually go with one, but last night bypassed the option of going with two to jump straight to three, then over a serious of substitutions whittled it back down to one.
Davies must've been injured to have not made the bench. I hope. Dunno, in LJ's defence I suppose he was trying to be positive. 1 thing though - he'll ruin Winnall playing him deep.
There's a big difference between playing 3 strikers & playing 1 of them up front. Winnall, God bless him, genuinely tried to be everywhere but whenever the ball broke to him in the middle of midfield he doesn't have the quality to play there - that's because he's our best striker & when you're 2 points above the relegation zone I'd argue you play your best players in their best positions.
I don't really want to see Winnall anywhere but the individual brilliance zone or POMO. Or POLO. SWALK.
Should've been 3 up by half time? I remember 3 good chances all game & 2 of them were Nyatanga headers in the second half
Winnall's in the first minute, then Smith when the keeper fumbled and Mawson(Or Smith I couldn't tell) header about 6 yards out.
