The next two home games are season defining.

If we win both of them I honestly believe we will stay up. If we don't it will be out of our hands and teams around us are not dropping as many points as I would expect.

Of those three I think Huddersfield will be the most crucial game. I think we'll finish above Bristol but I can't see us catching the Fowls unfortunately.

I don't think it will be a season decider if we lose at Middlesbrough. We're not going to go the rest of the season undefeated. We can afford to lose a number of games and still stay up.

I would take a point a Boro. It's the next two home games that I think will decide our season. Never would have thought that Wolves and Bolton would be six pointers though.

There's a long way to go yet. We just need to keep in touch. Teams live Wolves and Bolton will be worrying like mad at the moment. Last 5 games will be defining! - Charlton, Derby and Hull at Home Forest and Huddersfield away on last day. With Wolves, Bolton, Bristol City and Wednesday to come before there are some huge games but I don't think it will be decided until the last day.

If we keep playing like we have done since Peterbro away there's no chance of us getting relegated, 19 points to get to the magical 50 point mark from 16 games, easy!!

My only worry is that with this being a bit of a crackers season with everyone beating each other, the safety target could be as high as 54pts.

yep could be more than the usual magic 50 as things look. It's still down to us though. Its in our own hands now for the first time in a good while due to the fact we have Wolves at H!!

The problem with losing at Middlesbrough is not so much the losing. We will (probably) lose again this season, but next weekend (like last) eight teams at the bottom of the division are at home and seven of them are playing again in the league before the Wolves games. We could suddenly be five+ points adrift again - Its more psychological than anything else...

Wednesday not playing 16th, not are Peterborough. Wolves Bolton Hudd and Bristol all away. Ideally we get away with not playing

Before Christmas when Wednesday were on their losing run I was convinced we'd only need ~45 points to stay up since there was just the four of us cut adrift at the bottom and we all kept losing. However, since then everyone's started picked up points, us and Wednesday in particular so we've dragged a lot of teams back into the mix. It might take 52 or 53.

We're picking up wins on our travels and have certainly tightened up at the back, 2 goals conceded in our last 6. I don't think we need to pick up anything against 'boro and we don't need to beat both Wolves and Bolton since there's plenty of opportunities to pick up points from now until the end of the season. Other than Cardiff and Palace away I'd back us to pick up points in all our remaining fixtures, I think we've got a relatively easy run in.

It is worrying that Wednesday in particular are picking up a lot of points but now that there's so many teams in the mix I think we're bound to finish above three of them, especially if we can keep up anything like this level of performance. We're 6 points behind Blackpool in 15th so really there's at least 10 teams that could get relegated. I don't think that not picking up good results in our next few games is going to define our season.

    We'll be reight!

If we win the majority of our home games we'll pick up enough on our travels.

I think we are capable of getting something at Boro. Their back four got battered by mcClean down at Ipswich.

Hardwood revved up will destroy them.

fixtures not great for us over the next couple of weeks. another rock hard away game on saturday, while all our rivals are at home (again). then we're in the Cup, while most teams have another game. so we could find ourselves with a much bigger gap than 2 points, and huge pressure on a 'must in' game against wolves

the good news is that we still have brizzle, wolves, bolton, hudders and wednesday all still to play. if we can take 8 or 9 points from them games, i think we give ourselves a huge chance of performing the miracle

oh...and i now think the MK tie is a blessing in disguise. a low profile tie has allowed us to concentrate completely on the league
