we need to start turning these positive displays into positive results.
We are disappointed to have lost but not down hearted because again the performance was good.

There must be a losing manager's phrasebook.

Point I'm making is All managers do it. I don't think, although I bet I will be wrong, that Simon Davey was the first manager to try and put a positive spin on poor results.
Anyway, Hugo Colace - key to a winning team by the looks.

It looks that way... like I poste dlast night, lets hope that being overlooked in favour of Thompson on Satdi has spurred him into action, instead of going through the motions. It sounds like Robins had the reaction he was looking for. We sounded more "in their faces".
To be fair It's been about 10 years since we actively closed the opposition down and won second balls etc. We've been an easy team to play against for far too long. Unless we felt like it.
If long term Robins can ally the aggressive part with a team that can play football then he'll probably move on to a Premier League club, but in the meantime it should be all good for us.
If we're winning games then keeping those on the bench/not in the team happy will be an easier task than if we're losing, that will be a big test of his management skills. Hope he does it.

In a **** supporter stylee I went on the lash in Nottingham instead.
Might even skip next week's match v Burnley.
Things to do, people to see etc.

Welcome to my world... Think I'm going to go to Alton Towers this Saturday.
I'm not going to a game again till we're in the top half now that Davey has gone.

Don't worry Davey's gone = promotion, tha'll be back by October.
My apathy with the club is nowt to do with the manager or the players. Got right mawng on at the minute with it all, suppose I'll snap out of it.

RE: To be fair last time I so us regularly close down the opposition was when Mr Glavin was coach. 2003.
