if JCR plays well, Barnsley plays well. If JCR has an off game, the rest of the team have one too. Play JCR on the wing, cutting inside with the ball like he has done so many times this season and we will slaughter Birmigham tonight. Give him a free roll where he disrupts the rest of the midfield and we'll get slaughtered. If we play JCR in the centre f midfield tonight along side Colace, and play with two widemen, Hammill and (is Disco back??? or Diego???) with TWO strikers up front then we will give them a good game. My prediction, 2-1 to us, COME ON YOU REDS.
for me, it comes down to this really if JCR has a role on the wing - either I dont mind - I'll be there if he is given this free role farce, killing momentum and getting in everyones' way, I cant be arsed to go because I refuse to sit through anything similar to the Charlton debacle trouble is, I've got to go in order to find out but season ticket or not season ticket, I'm starting to find better things to do
I like that post its like this You don't know do you till you get there, then the game starts and you see him sat deep taking the ball off Moore and you stare into the heavans and start chewing on your scarf, because you know you know deep down that this isn't how its meant to be, this is not how we played earlier in season, but your here now and there is nothing you can do about it. It starts to rain, the East stand roof that is supposed to keep you dry, isn't. The little fella keeps falling over and running into two or three brutish midfielders, losing the ball time and time again. Everyone can see it, even the ones who you know really do know nothing about football most of the time, even they start to see it and all you can do is look on wondering if there was a good film on instead or a documentry on the miners strike, anything but to be here watching this again. The Welshman looks on, he knows what he's doing even if no one else does, but for how much longer? The above is an abstract from the forthcoming book 'The Doomed Davey' by Swinton Red
