    Driving to work & a guy comes right up behind in rear view mirror, as close as possible to my bumper & there's a huge loud groaning from the engine. I'm sitting there thinking, why would you want your car to make that amount of noise.... as he sped off into the distance, the noise remained.... my exhaust has gone AGAIN! What is it with Citroens & exhausts? Today I shall be spending most of the day dealing with arrogant mechanics who will try to rip me off. (cryin)

    Would have gone there but I'm up in Ossett. The car wont make it home, so it's in the garage staffed by the most miserable people on earth. Just hope they get it done by 2pm.

    thats not bad really , French cars tend to be expensive on bits, had a renault once

    everything is dealer only, Scenic I had... wanted a radiator cap for the expansion tank..halfords no...any motor factors no....most caps around £3:99 the Renault one dealer only £12 plus VAT

    I drove by a citroen this morning and it's exhaust wasn't blowing.

    I could try and track them down over the next couple of weeks and see whereabouts they had it fitted, it's likely it'll be on the Isle of Wight, but there's no harm in asking is there?

    Can you wait a few weeks? You could ask the garage to put the old one back on while you wait?

    DO NOT GO TO KWIKFIT anywhere

    I had to have 3 exhausts as they 'cobbled together' cheaper parts to fit my VTR rather than get the correct part. In the end they had to repair the floor pan where their 'bodge' had damaged it. Went to council to consumer complaints and BMBC before KWIKFIT took any notice

    Woulda got a better job done by the lass on the till at Kwik Save
