    Just been to drop someone off in town for 1-30 start - looks steady at the moment. Pubs not rammed as yet.

    I'm off into tarn a bit later. Knaresborough tarn centre though, always gets a bit lairy, should be fun.

    I'll be staying in tonight, lovely glass or two of wine, curled up on the settee with the wife, with our two wonderful doggies Brad and Fudge stretched out in front of a real log fire, with the Christmas tree lights twinkling their merry glow in the background.
    Maybe play the Messiah again.
    Or a bit of low down jazz.

    And you are all going round the pubs to get rat arsed, skint and sick.

    Hope you all have a good time, but I honestly can't think of anything worse than fighting to get to a bar, people so wrecked they're throwing up in the street, and going from jam packed, sweating hot to freezing cold outside.

    Give me a quiet pub, and a chat with a few good friends any day of the year.
