Fell sorry for you mate. For me its the one day of the year where all my immediate family spend most of the day together, exchanging presents etc. I hate the long over-comercialised build-up to Christmas, but the day itself is and always will be special to me. Also love Boxing day but would never wish a swift end to Christmas day for that reason. Enjoy the cricket, hope they can salvage something from the last 2 tests, but I doubt it, Silk purse and pigs ear and all that.
Comes on sky at 10.30 so a 11.30 start. Toss at 11? And they shouldn't drop KP, hes actually batting well. Hes not been bowled out once yet. Said other day hes batting at is best and things just aren't going for him which he said happens. Rumors are Bairstow in, apparently Prior did very little other day, just throw downs for him.
No, he just has a habit of giving the Aussies catching practice. Great player, but had his day I think.
I did Mr.C but i'm in a spell at the moment when it's not a good day. Early twenty's. I'm sure others of my age will feel the same maybe.
I enjoy the pint at lunchtime with members of my family that I don't generally see other than at Christmas as well as the meal. The rest of the day seems a bit of an inconvenience to me now with there being nothing open and generally poor programming on television. (what happened to all the brilliant Xmas specials you used to get?) The idealistic folk dress it up as a day for spending time with your family but by early evening I get the impression that they want me to go home! Which to be fair is exactly how I feel when they come to mine!
i don't understand how anyone can hate anything. life's too short. find something you enjoy and put your energy into that instead.
Don't wish days away, especially those you spend with family. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MYiahoYfPGk&desktop_uri=/watch?v=MYiahoYfPGk&app=desktop
