I blame the other teams in the Championship for being better than us at football and the clubs for being better run.

Unburden yourself of any guilt Pep and continue to serve up the turgid toss we have had to endure for the majority of the past twelve months.

Running the club as if it's in administion is definitely coming home to roost....

Why should PC, or anybody else for that matter, bother to invest in the club when our own fans can't be arsed. It's too easy to keep blaming the club but they have to cut their cloth.

Have you invested this season? I know I have.

We are a very well ran club. From the mess we were in ten years ago, - through administration, being mortgaged off by Doyle, mis-managed again by Ridsdale, steadied by Cryne and Shepherd and finally solvent, debt free and self sufficient. We are a model example on how to operate a small football club, with a modest following and income. Some folk have short memories.

I'm gutted about yesterday's result too, but we are pound for pound one of the highest achieving clubs in the league. We got hammered yesterday, through inexperience and bad organisation, which Hill has to take responsibility for.

The income we have is managed very well. We are just clueless when it comes to increasing that income.

Yes I have but there are 1000's who haven't and that makes a huge difference to our spending power.

It does I agree. But the club don't help matters with the consistent message that we won't be aiming for anything else other than "proving the bookies wrong".

It's frustrating but do you really think that is the only reason why fans aren't bothering? Fortunately we still have circa 8000 fans who aren't so easily influenced.

No it's not. There's the cost, the local economy and employment situation and the fact that many are just finding better things to do.

I think you're right and the biggest problem is that once fans get out of the habit of going it's hard to get them back. Of course there are fans that will only go to big games no matter what the club do so these can be disregarded but getting the regular fans back is a must if we really want to progress. I dont know how to do that and Don and PC have my sympathy in being responsible for addressing the problem but there is only so much the club can do.

Knowing you I would have expected better

Sarcasm does not help the situation.

As for being better run, I'll say there is no club better run than us. We are solvent which is more than most clubs in this division can state.

It seems the lessons of Portsmouth and Rangers are quickly forgotten.

I would have renewed if the manager had been removed at the end of last season. For me personally he is the reason fans have drifted away and why we will go down.
Feel obliged to stuff me, but that's my opinion.

I`m sure Don himself would say there is room for improvement on the business side of things just like he did at the start of last season.

I thought we supported a team?

You are obviously entitled to your opinion, but my take is I support BFC no matter who is in charge.

Regardless of who the manager is I support Barnsley Football Club, I invest my money each year by purchasing a season ticket. I am frustrated with the yesterday, however I know I am doing my bit to help.
