It's started. Same old over. When did we last win a South Yorkshire derby?

    HOWARD LOOKING FOR LOCAL PRIDE
Posted on: Wed 27 Feb 2008

BARNSLEY skipper Brian Howard wants to beat Sheffield Wednesday this weekend to give Reds fans some local pride.

Speaking to www.barnsleyfc.co.uk, Brian said: "This is a huge game for us. It is a real six pointer because Sheffield Wednesday can go level with us if they win their games in hand. We desperately need to win to keep them behind us.

"We have to keep above Sheffield Wednesday for our supporters.

"We should have had more from our last two matches and created enough chances to win both of them. It is very frustrating and we just could not put the ball in the back of the net".

I've just emailed the website and Club to ask them not to do it because it really grips my **** when you know they don't really mean it.

They've done the same now for over a dozen games involving the Sheffield clubs & Donny. We have lost the lot, apart from one goal-less draw at home to Weds.
Does my head in big style.
