I've spent the last 24 hours simply soaking up what's been posted on here, the papers, tv and radio.

The monumentous effort that has been put in by Barnsley Football Club in 2013 is nothing short of a miracle.

I've experienced my fair share of highs and lows watching the Reds but deep down if I'm honest this feeling matches any promotion or play off feeling.

For a couple of hours yesterday lunchtime felt like a lifetime and when Vaughan equalised I thought that was it. Then while I sat numb at the thought of a long summer, elation, sheer and utter elation when Palace got a third. I danced, I shook my arms above my head and later that afternoon I spontaneously burst into tears.

A great game, the right result and some unbelievable positive press driven by the attitude and behaviour of two honest, relieved and passionate sets of fans.

I was born and bred in Huddersfield, lived there for 27 years, love the town and its where I call home. But I've never been prouder to say I support Barnsley Football Club.

Here's to a great summer to you all and thank you all for being my friends.

    Hear, hear, Norfolk.

I was at work with a customer during those last 10 minutes, and I knew that we were drawing and Posh were winning, which meant we were down. When my customer left I couldn't believe that Palace had scored twice to save us and put Peterborough down. I was shaking with excitement.

    Have a good summer yourself.
