    ..that is screwing us.

    Many businesses have "loss-leaders" in their product line, which they sell at a loss(or at least break even) to attract customers and help them sell their higher profit items. I honestly think the powers that be should look at the "experienced" players everyone can see the squad needs as their loss-leaders. Players that they are never going to bring them a profit, but will add value to the younger members of the squad by helping them learn game management etc.

    Because at the minute, the team is a shoo-in for League One next year so any profit they may be licking their lips at is going down the swanny...

    I liked your post because I totally agree. As you say everyone knows the score regarding recruitment. It's a long three months coming up unless they tighten up.

    Couldn’t agree more Cod Eye, I’ve been eating this repeatedly & using Preston as an example ego develop young players alongside experienced pros
