    ok he left in poor circumstances, but we need a manager not an assistant posing as a manager. Give him 4-5 years in charge and see what happens

    If you're giving him 4 to 5 years are you accepting that we're going to start next season in Division 1 or is he going to be the miracle worker a lot on here cast him as? If we're going down anyway we might as well let Flicker see it out and save the compo that sacking him would probably incur. Most of the squad will be gone anyway at the start of next season so re-building will obviously happen. If he's going to keep us up, get him in now so he can asses what we need and move in the January window (which might be too late but hey ho!). I don't think we'll have to rush to get him 'cos I can't see a queue at his door at tha moment.

    Just as an aside, Dave Jones might be available on Monday!!!

    Come home Danny please please. Get rid of the dross play the young players and let's go. Relegation is a certainty with this lot but at least Danny can rebuild and we will play decent football
