if yo have read Ian Flemmings books ... you will find that the one actor who came the closest to Flemmings vision was David Nivven.. but the likes of cubby Broccili etc where not happy.. so Connery got it...the first BOND. Then Sean was dropped and George Lazenby got the role as Bond for IHMSS (in Her Majesties Secret Service) Lazenby and the film producers made the one film that was the very closest to Flemmings view of his superspy. Watch that film and read that book and you will see it.. In fact I urge you to read ALL of Flemmings Bond Books. You will then let go all the modern 007 crap we now have.
Re: if yo have read Ian Flemmings books ... And then at 9:12, adverts. 9:27, adverts. 9:41, adverts. 9:56, adverts and so on... Pausing on Sky Plus* and then begin watching after approximately 24 minutes should at least allow you to fast forward them all though. *other DVR's are available, not sure why I used Sky as an example as they haven't supplied my TV for nearly 18 months.
