    hehe sorry

the screen went to a test screen of some sorts saying this morning! then to the itv logo and then we were back, only gone for about 30 secs.

If they do that in an England game the riots will slmost have started in pubs

I prevented a riot in Magaluf in 1998.

100's of England fans in a bar for England vs Argentina on a big rear-projection TV.  With 5 minutes to kick off, the screen went fuzzy for a few seconds followed by the test card.  This was still the case two minute later.

As the natives got restless I went to the (distraught and soon to be mutilated) manager and suggested retuning the satellite receiver, which was connected to the sound system, to Radio 5, then running a coax cable from the flat upstairs to get Spanish terrestrial pictures on the big screen.

We got it up and running about 45 seconds into the match and I didn't pay for a drink all game.
