...............that was on the assumption that we didn't get relegated. If there is a chance of this, and its looking increasingly likely that there is, then Patrick Cryne and the rest of the directors have to act to prevent this. The club has been losing its fans more or less since Patrick Cryne took over at the helm - if we were to drop into the 4th Division then this would be a disaster for the club which could impact the prosperity of the town
Can't argue with any of that! That poses the question what the hell are they playing at? They have cocked up on a monumental scale and it would appear its all about saving face with the excuses they roll out at these fans meetings. Admit their mistakes, make the decision to change things and lets give the club a chance to avoid the drop
In my view there has been two decisions made by Patrick Cryne that at the time were good ones but these decisions have come back to bite him. 1) Young manager so we will build a team of young players around him 2) Lee Johnson is the last manager that I will employ As with all such decisions, the first decision was made with good intent and could have been successful but unfortunately it hasn't worked - I'm expecting a totally different team at the end of the season to what was there at the beginning of the season. The second decision was made when the club was doing badly but were not in the horrible predicament they are now - but in saying what he did, and I'm assuming its true what he said here, then Patrick has backed himself into a corner.
