Now I'm a "senior" it's £190 in the East Stand which equates to £8.26 per game. Really, you can't go wrong with that..... and even afford to miss a few if I have to. I may criticise BFC for some lousy ticket pricing but now, for me, it's bloody brilliant.
Since my stroke, I'm now registered as disabled. Does this qualify me for the disability concession, or is that just for people who are wheel-chair bound and such? It would be a welcome saving, while I try to get back earning properly. I suspect i don't qualify...
I'm sure if you have some sort of confirmation you are registered disabled then you should qualify.... Some disabilities don't affect your legs or ability to get around but they can have a negative impact on earnings which I suspect is why they offer a reduced ticket price.
Cheers. I'm still a bit wobbly and sometimes use a cane for balance & steering. Nowhere near as bad as I was. I wouldn't like to take advantage, but as you say mate, concessions exist for exactly these situations.
I've paid £300 for mine, in the Ponte, which equates to £13 a game. Also cracking value. I suppose the best way to save up for such a thing is to put a tenner a week away. Enough for a season ticket and a bit extra. Sent from my I-Oven using the internets
Fired I'm thinking of getting a st for wife and 2 kids. Noticed it's cheaper in the family stand but my problem might be that kids can't always attend. If they don't attend a game am I also unable to attend in this area of ground?
Just to be clear.. "Season Tickets sold in the CK Beckett Family Area (F14, F15 & F16) are strictly for families only. Adults or Seniors (Over 65’s) without Juveniles and unaccompanied Juveniles are not permitted into the Family Area"
It's not a problem. Until recently, my kids didn't come to Tuesday night games, because we get home late. I still went along on my own. The Family Stand is good. Good view, no swearing, and the added bonus of an old guy turning up 5 minutes late every week, shouting "Red Army, We're Barmy."
You could have the freedom of the West stand when you're by yourself, just find an empty seat. I generally sit in the West Upper when raining, lower when fine. I like to mix it up occasionally with the Ponte and east stand. I'd like a season ticket that let me go anywhere i want.
