And the knob head coppers that threw out a bairn for 'mouthing off' want a smack.
However, the Liverpool supporters round us that clappedour fans and our team were a credit to them and their City. I just hope that we'd be equally as gracious in similar circumstances.

And the ones we saw in the pub and on the train after the game None of them had a bad word for us - obviously disappointed in their team but all a credit to Liverpool and Football fans
My thoughts exactly - anyone who knows me (EastStander will vouch for this) will tell you of my dislike for all things Scouse, but I saw them in a different light throughout Saturday. Cracking day out (even before the 93rd minute!).
And the stewards and coppers in the away end were pleasant and helpful. What's the world coming to ? The only thing I had to grumble about was the no alcohol for sale inside the ground.
Only incident I saw was when we headed down the main road to Anfield, group of kids decided to throw a few bricks at the coach.
coach 14 had some stones thrown at the windows not much to shout about really-one stewrad outside snapped someone's Brazilian flagpole in half which the fan was rightly annoyed about
Proper football fans.... Went out in Liverpool Saturday night and must have shook hands with 100 Liverpool fans... Didn't get one bad reaction.... Wonder how Liverpool fans would have got on round town if they had come to Oakwell and beaten us ???
RE: Proper football fans.... Wellington street would've been a battleground.
Still wouldn't have gone round Croxteth mind.....
