1 per season ticket holder, then any excess tickets are available to individuals who are willing to commit to purchasing a season ticket for bext year, thus rewarding those who commit to the club all season long, obviously not asking for the season ticket money up front have some kind of pay monthly scheme. What do people think? I know some will argue against as some people are true supporters but can't commit to a season ticket due to work commitments etc, can I just say I am one of those people so I would miss out too, but I'm thinking overall benefit to the club, this way we increase attendances for next season at a time where falling attendances are a big problem

Sounds good. If people miss half the games from the ST it will still be about break even on pay on the day prices.

A PR mine field and dubious legality.

Bored of all this ticket talk now.

Huge game tomorrow. Can we not talk about that instead?

    How about creating 'bundles'...

So for example have the standard 1 ticket per ST holder (no juvenile upgrade etc)

    Then..

Sell the tickets as part of a bundle when purchased with say 3 home games

Then after a point in time it can be bought in a bundle with 2 games and then 1 game and so on until none are left...

Not sure on legality with it being the FA Cup but Sheff Utd used to do this with league tickets when in the prem. If you wanted to see them play Man Utd at home, you had to buy the ticket as part of a pair for a 'lesser' home game. I never went but a lot of my mates at uni did

Whitey.............what's happening is, in general, this without a ST are panicking and posting.

This with a ST are sitting in the comfort knwoing that they have a Man City ticket lined up.

That's how it should be.......reward for stumping your cash up front/loyalty at start of season.

As for tomorrow.........Barnsley win 2-0........first goal Harewood.

    Something like http://bbs.barnsleyfc.org.uk/showthread.php?185056-FA-Cup-Cateogries

I'd be tempted to use it as a way to get more people to commit to the relegation scrap

Wouldn't have thought it would break any rules. Surely we can sell tickets to our games however we want??

Dunno, tickets have a face value and this is using it as leverage on another purchase. I really don't know but I can't see the idea being entertained not even by Don. It would be a public relations disaster.

Yeah something along those lines. Maybe even a slight discount for buying the bundle. Great opportunity to get people back into Oakwell before a general sale free for all

But I haven't got a ST this year, and I'm not panicking and posting about it.

I might be able to get a ticket, I might not.

If I don't go, I'll happily watch it on TV and let the more deserving among us enjoy the atmosphere at the CoM stadium.
