why else is it taking so long...I know he isnt great but he's better than what we have so i'd be gutted.

I'd put striker over defender as priority, our defence has tightened up a little bit but we havnt scored for yonks.

I'd give coulson a run in the team...why the hell not, hope he plays tonight.

 

It could be that

the club are being meticulous with the medical and contractual obligations. as in protecting our interests. still, you could argue its just typical Barnsley Board messing about.

 

We need a Henry type striker who can do everything for himself,

the current midfield set-up is to sit in front of the defence for 90 mins and hope for the best up front.

 

Sadly I think there is only one Henry-type striker. And that's Henry.

Can't see The Gunners taking Richards and £120k though.

I bet they're fannying about haggling over a couple of quid. For god sake pay him what he wants and get on with it. at least he cant play tonight anyway so we have a few days to sort it.

Essentially, two strikers have gone out of the door this week (Richards & Wright). At the moment, we only have Nads & Hayes (plus Coulson).

We are looking low on numbers yet again.
