As one of the fans who did the walk their in 2001 (I think), they were very welcoming and friendly.

We collected money from a lot of people as we walked into Chesterfield. If I remember right they warned us about the firm who were loaning the money as they'd had problems with them.

After the post from Hemsworth Tyke, can you blame them?

One of the most embarrassing posts I've read on here.

Chesterfield fans seem to really dislike us. Reading there forum today and after the other meeting this and last. I couldn't care less about them really seem abit of a bogey team for us now.
A few of their fans on way to ground blokes in there 20 n 30s were been filmed by syp on way through town maybe known bother causes. Walking up towards ground singing provocative songs when coppers had gone. When some people got a chant going of "going down with the pikeys" they all went quiet fast quite funny, although they had the last laugh.

Was walking under the bridge with my young neice and nephew near Gala when a crowd of them surrounded us and started singing the I wanna go home' song at us. I was like, f**ckin on yer bike then d*ckheads. Oldest one was about 20 by the way..

Similar area to where that occurred coppers started filming them at level crossing opposite gala and followed em until under the bridge. Quite a few coppers mind to say they was maybe 10 to 15 chessy fans. When coppers stopped following they were shouting "can you hear the dingle sing" and 'I wanna go home" must have been a diffrent group youngest looked in his 20s and oldest was probley early 40s all well tanked. All went quiet though when a few barnsley gave em some back. Thought they was going to be bother but just went silent.

What an amazing set of fans they had. Singing 'I wanna go home' then 2/3mins later singing 'dont take me home'. I see the schools in chesterfield are top notch.

And with that comment you must endear other fans to this board, who may also assume that all BFC fans are like you.

I don't know, maybe that's why I said "seems from their forum". And not all Chesterfield fans in General. :D
