i knew of all what GS has said tonight well over 2 months ago.
Why hasn't he acted between then and now?
Both parties are to blame. AR for not realising we need players, and GS for not acting on his obvious discomfort in having AR as manager.

Tonights Tipple...Carlsberg Export..but seriously Heres a theory
Richtea's ambition is to survive on a budget, with the players he likes and is reluctant to upset the apple cart. Has a great sense of loyalty to the players and still has faith that they will do enough to survive. Perhaps with a signing or two in January. Has continually assured the board that he thinks the current squad is adequate. Has identified players he would like but has been unable for either financial reasons or otherwise to convince the players he wants to come or their respective clubs to part company. Perhaps the board or AR lack the football savvy/contacts to make deals happen?
GS, doubting his manager but not wanting to undermine him, has suggested possible signings, which AR on reflection has turned down, but GS has not wished to go public hoping that things turn around for AR and that AR is proved right. (afterall GS would love to survive without paying out any more than he has to)
GS et al have become increasingly frustrated with AR's attitude toward the current squad and, looking into the abyss on the back of increasing criticism of the management / board in general from the fans, decided that in the face of AR's intransegence, to reluctantly go public with his concerns in an attempt to spur AR into action?
Or am I grasping at straws.
Excuse the grammar. I know what I mean!

I'm with thee... but a certain mutual 'friend' spoke with GS well over 2 months ago and his position was the same as tonight.
One thing is for certain, things have to change. And asap.

Let the Manager pick the players he wants and let the Chairman do his best in funding to get them in. We all know the type of players we need in.....can we afford 'em.....
Apart from the ones he tried to get in and they turned us down.... the ones he had on trial and the ones that are being scouted.
RE: Tonights Tipple...Carlsberg Export..but seriously You and I don't often share the same views, so this may be a first. I think you may have hit the proverbial nail right on the head.
