That story is totally at odds with rejecting good offers for JCR and Anderson.

It doesn't stack up woth Crynes recent comment 'we are relatively debt free'.

It's basically nonsense when considering we just got 3 million TV money, 600k Muller, 400k Brum promotion money and £500k Howard.

It's totally at oddds with making a cash bid for Adam and presumably a cash bid for Hammil........why did Steel get a 2 year contract then if we are that hard up?

I think its a classic case mate of your friend putting 2 n 2 together and being way of the mark.

Sounds like a mixture of frustration at lack of transfer activity and then jumping to conclusions because we haven't signed anyone. Personally reckon we have some money to spend - maybe between 1 and 2 million but we will be saving some back in case it goes 'tits up' later in the season -and some will to be cover what will probably be a significant reduiction in season ticket revenue (maybe 25% down on last season but I stress, that's my guess, I'm not in the know)
