I've just got into cricket this past year after no interest whatsoever

due to having a new aussie brother-in-law.

So I have no memory or perspective on these players as legends; Cook is useless! How is he opening? His average recenty must be awful. And Pietersen is an idiot- unable to not smash it straight to the field.

Oh no, you'll have Hemmsy on to you! To be fair to Cook, he is a very good batsman generally, but he clearly cannot handle being captain as well - this tour should see he him relinquished of that responsibility and then I'm sure his form will return.

As for KP, he will never be a legend in my (and many others' eyes). He's far too much up his own backside, looking after number 1 at the expense of the team, IMO. Time to drop him from Tests - he's only good for 1-dayers nowadays as he doesn't appear to have what it takes mentally to perform as you might expect in a Test Match. By which I mean, when the going gets tough, he plays stupid shots and gets himself out, just when England need him to come up with an innings he might have made 5 years ago. Hope he proves me wrong this Test match, because in this series he's just not done what you would expect a true "legend" to do.

Anyone with any kind of cricket knowledge can see this England team are a joke.

And that starts with the calamitous captaincy. He should be stripped of it and left to try and get back to some form. He is hopeless.

KP can't make the transition from ODI cricket to test cricket. Too much ego and not enough 'cricket intelligence' as Flicker would say.

Is average is Awful. He averages about 47. about 900 runs from been England all time record breaker in test cricket. yes Awful. Likely to be in and around 13,000 runs which will put him on and around 6th of all time players. Youngest player to reach 8000 runs, bar non.

He was in the last Test Team of the year and he got in to that team as Captain too so hes impressed the ICC select panel.

He wasn't the most natural to the one day team but he worked on it and become the one day Captain which I beleive reached world number one under his stewardship. Again Awful.

Now maybe you could tell me a world Class sports man or Women that hasn't had a bad spell. Every players had this even tendulkar, the guy who set the records that Cooks breaking.

I will end by saying Kevin Pietersen is a ******. Nothing more needs to be said.

Does Dhoni give up been captain because of that loss in England? No
