How the **** does that work. I've told him he needs to tell ring me in the morning after he's slept to phone in sick. He says &quot;i'll be too ill to phone&quot;..........</p>

You don't work in a doctors surgery, do you? They expect you to know that you'll be ill in advance 

 

The most rediculous thing he said....

was he was ill so couldn't walk. Couldn't walk? What virus is going about that doesn't give you any flu like infection but attack the legs in such a way that you can't get to the phone in the morning.</p>

I think he'll spend all day in the SACK. Did I say SACK I meant to say bed.</p>

From your original posting I thought, well that's fair enough there are occasions that you know you won't be fit for work the next day but now I'm starting to think he phoned you whilst pissed.
