What other way can a game be decided? I hate penalty shoot outs - too much pressure on 2 people.

How else can a game be deciphered?

They've had plenty of time to find a winner

The shootout is just there to find a winner when the teams can't manage it by themselves.

a game of tiddlywinks by the 2 managers in the centre circle

that would get the supporters going!

    :pff

Penatly shoot outs all the way! They have become a skill in their own way. If the players are good enough to hold their nerve they will win. Does tend to favour the more experienced sides however but its a brilliant end for the neutrals!

Sudden death extra time at the end of the 90 mins - 20 min periods, unused subs are allowed to be used, perhaps also allow those players subbed to be brought back on as well.

The number of corners gained during the game.

This gives a fair indication of a teams attacking aspirations.

Would suit us, since we never score from one.

I think the corner count up is the fairest idea!

like the time we went to hillsboro had 17 corners without scoring before the fowls scored from their first?

We beat Wolves 5-0 at Molineux about 15 years ago without having a single corner.

Full time Multai-Ball - as they say in America

Opposing fans kick upto 50 balls onto the pitch and the players have to score into the opposing nets.

Those with the highest number of goals in one minute win.

Not noughts and crosses for americans, but two captains taking fairy steps from the edge of each box. [IMG]
