But taking off 50% of your back 4 AND a holding midfielder all at the same time strikes me as an incredibly foolish thing to do. Without knowing how it affected the game (we lost but I don't know if the changes really had anything to do with that) from the outside it looks like some kind of crazy panicked decision rather than a serious tactical change.

I think we should limit our away followings to just 500 because whenever we take a strong four figure superb number to back the players, the team always chokes.

Having listened to the game. It seemed as though we were the more likely to get the winner, as Doncaster had only had one shot on target all game. Townsend wasn't busy, and Mawson and Tangs seemed comfortable.

I wouldn't say that we didn't sound like we weren't creating anything, but we seemed to be lacking in the final third. I don't think such a drastic of a change was needed but we certainly needed to give Winnall more support.

I was unsure as to why we took Wabara off, because he could naturally play like a wing back if we were to go to 3 at the back. As such we were left exposed and ended up conceding.

Seems we dominated posession but that doesn't matter one bit. It's like last week when Mansford mentioned that we've spent over four minutes on the ball than any other team in the league. What good is that when we've midtable to show for it? Donny deserved the win because they scored the most goals and goals are the only thing that matters.

 

Not only did he take 2 full backs off but Mawson and Nyatanga moved positions so that's 4 changes in defence with his substitutions. Keeper should have done better with winner, beaten at near post.

 

Thought all three goals in the game should have been comfortably saved by the keepers. Really hate when we conceed in our own six yard box. Number one pet hate as anything in there the keeper should always come and get knowing how soft refs are on the slightest bit of contact. Our CBs are the club captain and team captain, so the best of our three based on form this season Roberts is made the fall guy as the non league signing.
