The dark days of Administration. 2nd bottom of the table, one win in ten league & cup games this season (following on from the poor league form from January onwards), an inability to score, the imminent departure of our club captain and top scorer from last season, in-fighting amongst the fans, no likelihood of any immediate improvement on the playing front. I've gone past the anger and frustration stage, a simple numbness envelopes me now.
In the summer, with the season ticket prices and promises of significant funds being made available to the manager for incoming transfers, I was full of optimism. That's all gone now, for me.
I suppose this all goes hand in glove with being a Barnsley fan, so I shouldn't be surprised anymore. Unfortunately, I am (more fool me).

I feel the same, sat there on Saturday and just felt empty watching the reds. It feels like it did in Harts days in charge, just numb. I know that until Davey goes it wont get any better and im worried that Cryne won't do whats needed before its too late.

Cheer up!! Its all there to fight for!

Having not been there last night I am still confident that the situation can be turned around. I just hope we can get a loan striker in.

Exactly how I feel, it really is depressing right now. I went last night & it's soul destroying watching this dross week in week out. I just never expect us to score, even more so away from home!!

Davey seems clueless and never changes anything, how can it just go on and on. We must be the worst away side in years. We will end up going down with a embarrasing amount of low points at this rate! He has to go for me as he doesn't seem to get that we look sooo bad at times, & if he thinks we don't need a centre forward, then god help him!

It's almost as if he wants to be sacked to get a big pay off as he is just letting things go on. The players seem to play as 11 people who have never met, not as a TEAM!!

I f we get our arses kicked by our tin pot neighbours, Mr. Cryne/the club will have no choice but to act to change the managment of the team. Sad, but true.

Thats the main point for me, it never changes!! Its the same away from home now as it was last november, he doesn't learn his lessons. How many of his post match press conferences sound the same and he does nothing to change our ridiculous form away from home, even our home form is **** now!!

Agree......at the matches now I just sit and stare because ...........

............its so obvious whats lacking.............a couple of quality strikers and we would be in the top 6 by now
There's only Ipswich thats really given us a going over, and even there we are reported to have had most of the play...........all the rest have won by the odd goal except Birmingham

One word to describe the situation now....................foooooking FRUSTRATING !!!!!!!!!!

Or is that two words ???

I agree. I still believe we have some very decent players. A better team than what we have had in the last few years, even without Brian Howard. Unfortunately it seems Davey is lacking. Lasdt chance for him to get it together now, or I fully expect him to get the boot on Monday morning.

Me to mate, in fact i predicted on this board that we would have a great season, and like your good self was full of optimism. But the big disappointment to me is that Davey brought in players that are no better and lack the passion of some that he let go . Saturday could be the final nail in Mr Daveys coffin. We havn't beaten Donny since they came back into the football league, and the players that we currently have means that it's unlikely to change. :)S)

The thing is with Davey, I think he has the potential... He just needs to be an assistant first.. learn how to do the job from someone with experience.
This is his first go, and I know it's costing us, but he must have something going for him. He just needs to be shown the way

My worst was when we loast 6-0 away to Grimsby......... Jeez

Fook me it aint so bad!

I we lose 0-6 at home to Donny on Saturday....... and don't pick up any points in the next two or three games then I will agree its time to take action. But although we keep hearing it, we are playing ok just not finishing chances. Its amazing what a win can do for a team and a goal for a striker....... alot of it is about comfidence! and the thing about playing younsters such as Lazarus us that they play no fear!!

What if we only lose 3-0 at home to Donny on Sat? Is that OK for you?

If lazarus plays saturday and we get hammered the atmosphere will be nasty, not what you want a 15 year old kid to endure. We have international players who can't get in the squad, lets not ruin the kids as well
