I've noticed that the number of registered users is getting less & less each time i come on, whilst.

the number of guests increases and the number of posts drop. When they bring in the rule about registered users having to have an authentic email address, there will be 100 guests reading me babbling on to myself.</p>

Because some are happy to simply read, catch up on the gossip and not join in with debates. You will notice that when important news such as the new manager being appointed is released then more people will sign in and join in with conversations on the topic.

I regulary sign on as a guest if I simply want to catch up and read a few threads . I only sign on as me if I want to post something . I can't figure out how to send a reply as a guest .

BBS is all about posting

voicing your opinions and letting others see them and post their own opinions with regards to your original post. This is how a debate starts an as a message board this is what it's all about surely. If everyone only read then eventually there would be nothing to read. Something I have noticed since I started positing a few months back is a lack of new members. Evereyone is usually a veteran at least and while Cazi is probably right in saying that once a new manager is introduced there will be an influx of new members but at the moment it seems to be reducing to a core of fifty - one hundred members posting on a regular basis, with others posting less often and very few people ranked regular downwards.

The one exception to this theory is Liz Smith, who has made lots of posts while still a regular, but Liz Smith is clearly a freakish posting machine ff
