I'm slow on the uptake so no excuses but I've just reopened my email advising the extended EB date and seen that the price is different from the old date price.
If you're trying to encourage renewals should you not extend the price too ?

Is it? I’d renewed so either didn’t get the email or ignored it - but surely the prices are the same?

I think it's yet another absolute balls up from our communications because the prices quoted in the renewal and now on the website completely ignore the family stand.

I think you're right. The East/West Upper are definitely the same prices as the ones I looked at last week.

I wonder if @Mr Badger is confused with the ‘New’ section? It refers to people buying a ST for the first time, not a new, extended, Early Bird price.

The picture he posted is from the website showing the prices, the email (and intro page on website) incorrectly states a higher "starting from" price because it pretends the family stand doesnt exist so anyone looking at it and knowing what prices started at a week ago would make the logical assumption that prices have increased.

If that's come via the email. It's a copy of what was posted by the club initially. The new season ticket holder price refers . (And I'll stand corrected as I misunderstood at the meeting) to those who havent had one in the last 3 yrs.) Not summat I agree with personally. But it's supposed to be a reward for loyalty.

I renewed when he got sacked but still got it. I'm not sure about anyone else but I seem to have had a LOT of emails from the club lately. Too many really. Just counted them and it's 21 in 27 days.

I must be too that’s way it reads to me, the new price for the extended period, not a new current non season ticket holder.

You can’t buy a family stand adult season ticket without also buying an under 14s / under 19s ticket.

The email regards extension of EB went out to non-renewals only.

    *edited after troff's response, apologies

It’s definitely for people who are new season ticket holders, that section existed before the Early Bird period was extended.

    OK I understand now.
It was just the word "new" that got me. Thought it was the new date they were talking about, not new purchasers.

I get 3 of the same very often within minutes not sure why. Eg. inside Oakwell the latest news.

I know you work for the club whitey but are you sure that’s right?

I thought the criteria was you had to have someone under 18 with you - so you’d have to have either an u14 ticket or an u19 ticket with an adult in the family stand?

Sorry, you're right. Under 18s, of course.

Well based on this post I have two things to say.

    1. It's still a price that season tickets start from so the email was a bit confusing having a higher price. Not sure why it was written out again anyway with just limited pricing information on instead of just sending the image with all prices on.

    2. I'm actually glad about this because apparently I didn't renew last week when I thought I had. No money taken from bank, no confirmation email and season ticket still not bought on site so thank **** you replied with that information
