Maybe the stay away fans tomorrow will do the club a favour in the long term, by shocking the club in to addressing the current issues including apathy of the fan base. Cruel to be kind?
I'm not going 1,unable to purchase my own seat another rowing administrative balls u 2 I am not fit enough to go
A day off work. A free day to do what you want. West Ham v Man U on TV. Spend £15 on going to a match with no atmosphere. I could go on. I love Barnsley FC and have for over 25 years but at the moment its such an effort. Bring back Keith!
i loved my grandparents on my dads side when i was a kid ( sadly both deceased, well all four who i loved equally) and we lived just down the road about 200yds but i hated being made to go see them, i used to go up regularly on my own ( it was the 50/60's so it was safe) but tomorrow feels like that, i love the team/club but i just dont want to go, does this make sense ?
What would the "fans" have them do? Sack the manager ? Reduce the admission fee. Have you something else in mind?
Well, by alienating many fans over December by charging full whack for the Wednesday game despite it being on Sky and by charging £28 for the Birmingham and Blackburn games just a few days after Christmas then it's hardly surprising that many have chosen to give the FA Cup game a wide berth. You're using an exception to prove your point regarding prices for tomorrow. Reducing prices for the Burnley match is too little too late and little more than a token gesture after charging full price for the 3 recent league games above at the most expensive time of the year.
