    Needs dropping for that. You simply cannot make a mistake like that in this league and expect to play the next game. If I was Murray I’d be fuming with him.

    I'm not Murray and i'm fuming with him, he's the best we've got though and he'll save us more times than he costs us.

    You expect a ‘keeper to make good saves. You do not expect a ‘keeper to drop a simple cross that should’ve been collected.

    You’ll note we had the U23’s keeper on the bench, have you thought who might replace Walton.

    Not that he needs dropping, we must have missed your praise for his 1 on 1 save from fletcher in the first half.

    On paper that’s cost us but we should have won that even with his one mistake .

    You don’t get dropped for one error, that would be a poor call.

    If he’d looked shaky afterwards, maybe.

    If he goes on to make more errors, Collins when fit should come in.

    But he’s earnt the shirt and should keep it for now.

    You can’t drop a keeper for one mistake, especially one who is young and has barely put a foot wrong every time he’s played.

    Come on, that’s his first mistake which has cost us a goal in his career, certainly in the last 3 years! I think that’s unfair

    If a CB makes a mistake as poor as that you’d expect him to be taken out next game, should be no difference for a GK - it’s a relentless business.

    He made a bad mistake but I'd cut him some slack, we get more good performances than bad from him and he's only going to improve

    Ever felt comfortable with walton in net. Decent shot stopper but distribution babba. Always feels theres a mistake in him.

    Still prefer my keeper to attempt to catch crosses than attempt to punch em. Costly mistake but made a fine save in first haif.

    I agree one mistake one great save hardly the first goalkeeper to drop the ball
    If he starts to make a habit of it then yes drop him but not for one error

    Exactly - looked how that turned out. The lad was getting crucified and his confidence was shot. We aren’t the same team as last year and we shouldn’t be making the same mistakes. We need to be ruthless.
