    Has a feeling of 'we've tried everyone else so here you go' type signing. I think he'll be very useful though, poor record recently but enough pedigree to warrant a chance. We're so light up front he can't fail to strengthen us in that area. Would have preferred to have made the decsion in early August rather than waiting so long but hopefully he'll sieze the opportunity.

    Can't be a nice feeling for him to be literally less than last pick. Strange way to go about signing a player and I can't imagine it's done anything for his confidence. Still, I hope it works out and does well for us.
