they are young lads, who we've mad into decent players. they are chancing their arm at bigger clubs, good luck to them.
I wish we could transfer you to another forum.

He was still recovering from a potentially career ending challenge until a good few months into the season, would have took him along time to get match fit again, reckon he might get more action next term.

    Well done to him!

    re; jacob butterfield

Why do folk like you slag off ex players (and good ones too), now i may be wrong but if butts had come back to Oakwell on loan this season, as both flicker and hill tried to get him, would you then have been slagging and making fun of him on here as you are now?

or would you be drooling over his 30yd screamers and game changing midfield play?

    mmmmm, i wonder???

look, he played really well for us and EARNED himself a move to a premier league club, i'm sure he realised that he would have to work his butt off to get in the team and give the lad a break for trying to better himself

I for one wish him all the best going forward

If every player we brought through our academy left for more money and a premier league club after giving us the number of games Jacob played we would get promoted.

    Re: re; jacob butterfield

I don't have a problem with players leaving us and bettering themselves but what really grips my **** is when players who have been developed and nurtured by us, shown immense loyalty by us and looked after by us then turn round, at the first sniff of a move, and treat us like something they have stood in. Butterfield (or / and his agent) acted like complete knobs after his injury and that is what I take issue with.

Works both ways though with clubs releasing players.

I don't even think about it until somebody posts about it on here and then in keeping with forum tradition I post an opinion ffs.
