Terrific today, was of our better players. Just wish he'd shot more often outside the box, got into plenty of decent positions yet always went for the through-ball. Agree think he was really good. He's finally realised that he needs to work hard and doesn't stop working. All those saying before that he can't last 60 mins, but was clearly just flicker not interested in keeping him on. Was hard for him to thread any balls through because he only had one player to give the ball to once he broke forward and it made it easy for there defenders to cut the balls out
wish all our players would shoot at goal when theres a chance to , too often we pass rather than have a shot
yet again, just proves what most already knew. he's a good footballer. play him in the middle of the park, with ball winners alongside him, and he'll create. play him on the wing and ask him to track full backs, he'll be $hit.
