We saw him play here a couple of months back when he was supporting Noel Gallagher and his HFB. I had never heard of him before and liked the look of what I saw / heard - it seemed to me very "brave" just to stand there strumming and singing without any accompaniment. He seemed pretty nervous TBH, and it wasn't a "polished" performance - in fact I liked how raw it was. Good to see a lad who has had such a tough upbringing doing well for himself.
I was excited about him, now I'm not arsed - can't get past that line 'skin up a fat one, hide from the feds'. Him slagging everyone off seems like a load of ******** too. no doubt be helping him shift a lot of records from Oasis & "lad rock" scene though.
He sounds to me like a mixture of Miles Kane and Bob Dylan... Not really heard much of him but the stuff I have heard are pretty decent. I liked what he said about the Brit awards too.
think you,ll be proved wrong there the lad is very talented wether you like his music or not ,now if you had aimed that at those jibes at those that appear on x factor or ben howard whos music is total ***** along with that ginger crooner forgot his name then i,d probably agrre with you.
