Ticks lots of boxes. Absolute brute of a bloke, no nonsense centre half, experienced, and just returned from injury and definitely available for loan. Shouldn't be having to drop into the arse end of L1 but fingers crossed.
People cry out for experience, we are rumored to be trying to get an experienced bloke in and now you're moaning
Article about him here http://m.burtonmail.co.uk/Derby-Cou...on-slow-road/story-28169661-detail/story.html Played his first full 90 minutes for their reserves last week in a 7-1 win. Sounds as though he's well down the pecking order at the minute so you'd like to think he'd be open to a loan out. Also says Keogh and Shackell have started every game this season, which means Ryan Shotton isn't getting any game time Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
Shotton makes the bench occasionally, but very rare he gets a kick. Buxton is really loved by their fans, like a Bobby Hassell figure for them. But he's not going to get a chance if Shackell, Keogh, Pearce and Shotton stay fit.
People may cry out for experience but im not on of those people! Im sick to death of loans! Loan players do not give a flying **** about bfc... Part of our problems is the loans! Sent from my LG-H815 using Tapatalk
Yes they would come! They get paid regardless...they need a club so there not rotting in reserves or under 18 squads Sent from my LG-H815 using Tapatalk
Bit of a generalization there. Dickinson, Shotton, Hammill, Waring, Nardiello, Trippier, McShane, Butland, Mifsud and many other loanees always gave their all and stated their love for the club. The problem isn't loans. The problem is the type of loans.
I also remember us getting Paul McShane on loan from Hull before he went back and became a first team regular there. He was very impressive.
Why do we think loanees don't care yet permenants do? Puzzling when loyalty in football is such a rare commodity these days. Did Peter Rammage care more than Jason Shakell?
Agree to a certain extent, but loans/ unregistered players are our only options right now, we can't wait til January. We need to change something, sharpish.
