I think we all agree that Digby looked twice the player he has done with Pearson in support on Saturday.

Do we think Pearson could have the same impact on Bailey?

Take away the defensive screening duties and Bailey can focus completely on what hes supposed to be good at. Passing and play making.

Possibly, but if the current formation as selected on Saturday continues to work then he will struggle to regain his place within the team.

I agree. Theres no need to give him another run just yet. But if Digbys game was a one off then we might need him again.

I think the only change I'd make for Donny is Lalkovic in for Kiwomya.

I think Bailey's place in the team firmly belongs to Pearson. I would like to see Berry play alongside Pearson personally. Digby deserves a bit of a stretch though.

I'd stick with a winning side for the match on Saturday... and use Lalkovic as impact sub as we did Saturday!

Hemmings, Bailey and Treacy can be sold or ship out on loan IMHO

I think Bailey suffered from been on his own in midfield. I can't remember a game this season when he had any of Digby, Berry or Abbott alongside him in the centre of midfield like Pearson had with Digby on Saturday.

Many clubs have two defensive midfielders these days, we've played one all season until Saturday & that one has been a player who he himself admits is not naturally a holding player

Stick with Lita? For me he can be dropped and give someone else a run, Phenix maybe.

Yes, I do. Whether he gets a chance or not though is a different story. Hopefully if Digby keeps improving, we'll not even need to find out, and Berry probably deserves a shot in there too.

Personally I think Bailey and Lita should both start purely for experience.

Take Ramage and Lita out of the starting team on Saturday and it may be the youngest 11 in the football league?

Bit of a worry innit, that we're already depending on a youth loan player, who's played one game and only here for a month. Eek

I'd be more worried if we didnt have him to worry about.

Guess Danny's plan is to keep Pearson until the end of the season and replace him permanently in the summer.

Wouldn't say it's a worry, but it is a MUST for the summer.

Something I mentioned in my blog a week or so ago. I believe he's got more in his locker going forward. I don't think he's an holding midfielder.

I don't really see what experience Lita is offering though. He was dreadful on Saturday & a passenger. At least with Ramage he's fully committed to the cause & is constantly talking to the lads around him

To be honest it is hard to make a strong argument on the pitch for Lita, but I just worry if you swap him with someone like Phenix it is basically a u21s side.

I don't know what Lita is like in the dressing room, but I would have thought Danny will need every bit of experience he has at the minute.
