Am I right in thinking his natural position is central midfield?

He played there for the academy against Bradford and looked a class above as you'd expect for a player who when fit, is a first team regular.

I'd play him in the replay at Chester or at least put him on the bench and bring him on. Same with George Maris. We didnt have a striker on the bench sunday. we needed one.

Bree's injured I believe, it's the only reason I can see for him not being in the side already.

He's injured. And against Bradford in the youth cup he was gash in central midfield. To be fair, the whole eleven were gash that night and well beaten.

It's irritating though isnt it? I know we had two academy lads on bench but should have given Maris something. Cant afford to loan another attacking player out

To be honest I thought Bree tried to do too much that night but you could see his quality. I thought Holgate had a decent game that night, and Templeton had glimpses of quality but as you say, it was a poor performance and they were well beaten.

Very frustrating. Or even Nana. Plenty of options, and a game against a conference side would have been an ideal introduction in my opinion.

As others have said he is out injured and I've heard its unlikely he'll feature again this year. Luckily that is only a few weeks.
