What a prospect he now looks. Physically up to the rigours of league 1 next season.Natural ability and athleticism. His potential is limitless.
He looks to have grown since the start of the season, looked a lot taller than I remembered today. Just reminds you of how young he is!! Think it's important not to push him too hard for that reason. I'm sure he's good enough to play 50 games next season but it would be a lot to ask. Same with Smith and Holgate.
For bfc to have any chance of progressing back to being a regular championship side we need to hold onto and progress our young players for 2 to 3 years so that when we do sell we get top money for them. Davies, Bree, holgate, smith, scowen, hourihane, winnall have the potential to play for sides much bigger than us but for us to progress we need to keep finding gems and bringing through our academy. I can't remember the last player we sold for top money which then benefitted our club. Carl Tyler maybe we did OK on.
