I bet he would take Froch 12 rounds.

Carl Froch is a warrior but isn't as special as he's been made out to be since the Kessler win

    Why shouldn't he?

I'm not a fan to be honest, but when you're probably two fights away from being a genuine world title challenger what's wrong with calling out a champion?

It's exactly what he should be doing

I must admit, we came home late with a few friends (the Penistone 'Rock Concert', one of the highlights of the local community), so the missus allowed me to watch the boxing that I'd taped with the sound off, so we could have some music on too. When I saw De Gale pointing at the camera and giving it loads I said that he'd be offering Groves out again. Froch is not going to fight De Gale. He may, if the price is right, fight Groves, but I'd doubt if that is going to happen. He has two fights left in him at most and Hopkins and Ward are the two obvious opponents for him, because at this stage of a career it's about the pension fund more than anything else. In fact, I wouldn't rule out a third Kessler fight. Groves, possibly, at a stretch. De Gale, no way.

Groves would stand a better chance as he's a proper boxer and the sort Froch don't like fighting but even then Froch would have too much for him and come through it without too many problems

I never said he shouldn't. Still funny though, froch would eat him up and spit him out. DeGale hasn't got the power to tickle froch.
