RIP Sith Lord! Great actor best known to most as Darth Vader - loved him in Coming to America as well! Sad loss...
It makes me think of his sad role in Clear and present danger, even more now. And yeah of course, his voice as Darth Vader.
Yeah the one with Harrison Ford, his character died in hospital. Think of his voice as Simba's dad Mufasa as well, on The Lion king. He had an amazing acting career!.
RIP great man. Perhaps the most iconic voice ever. And didn't realise he had a stammer as a young child. I loved his cameo in Sneakers... Particularly the end scene where they are negotiating over the box and what they'd each like as reward. Sleep well.
RIP. Probably the most iconic voice in movies. Darth Vader was portrayed in costume by David Prowse in the film trilogy, with Jones dubbing Vader's dialogue in postproduction because Prowse's strong West Country accent was deemed unsuitable for the role by director George Lucas. Here he is as King Jaffe Joffer paraphrasing a line from Return Of The Jedi.
RIP. Being a big Star Wars fan, I’ve heard his voice a lot in my time. I also enjoyed his cameos in Big Bang Theory.
All round good actor and distinctive voice. As toddlers, both my kids watched Lion King seemingly 10x a day, and that voice seemed to be part of our household RIP
RIP. First thing I remember him in was ‘Roots’ back in the day, which was hugely popular at the time.
