Nothing doing in 2010 if this is best we can muster.

Not convinced with Agbonlahor either yet but I give him benefit of doubt due to his age and good club form.

Heskey's done well so far, and Johnson is a very decent full back

Yeah fancy playing David James with his **** club form when they could be playing Robert Green who's a better keeper and in a better team.

    Both areas weak though

Who to replace James ? Robinson or Carson, hmmmm

Same up front. Carlton Cole certainly wont cut the mustard.

    agreed

though pesky heskey has not done too badly but not sure he has the ability to unlock international defences, just huff and puff

Johnson always seems to lose possession when going forwrd leaving us exposed

Downing, Jagielka OK as cover but not first choice players

James is outstanding one minute, a clown the next.

Agbonlahor is the only one that has some long term potential.

Is it just me or was Villa's goal just a bit fortunate with a touch of poor defending? Good finish mind but theres it was easy once the ball broke for him. James did little nothing either.

    'Creates chances for others'

Never been convinced when people say that. Very difficult to judge.

Shearer and Sheringham created chances for each other but didnt stop them scoring when chance came along. I dont think Heskey what we need up front but just shows current weakness in English strikers at minute.
