    obviously losing the league has had a real impact on him, just squared up to Arbeloa for going to the ball with him instead of covering another player but there was pushing and shoving Carragher looked absolutely furious, never seen him look that angry and this is 2-0 up in a game that means nothing. Yes it might show his ongoing passion for Liverpool but looked quite sinister.

    Theres the word - passion. He's as passionate to Liverpool as Gerrard is.

    For me he is exactly the type of player we're missing. Not only is he a great defender, but h'es Liverpool through and through. He shows incredible passion and pride everytime he plays and he's a great role model for younger players.</p>

    I also think he received shocking treatment by England, must one of the most consistent players in the prem, and has been for some time. Yet was never given his chance as a centre back for the national team
