Just the sort of player we need. Big number 9, worked his nuts off and gave the defence (Roberts especially) a torrid time. Had one chance and took it. Might not be the best footballer in the world but perfect for League One. Oh and he's only 23 so he would pass the Board's toddler signings policy.
He did fairly well but I don't think he's that good. Got lucky more than anything in that he was up against Mawson who's been poor for a month now & Roberts who's lost all his confidence. I doubt he would've had the same success six weeks ago
Thought Smith did an equally good job when he came on... Held the ball up well, and gave there defence a tough time. Just a shame Winnall had gone AWOL. Smith was shouting at him several times for not following up. Either hunting for ball out wide or behind play. I was hoping Winnall would have been subbed when Jackson came on. He linked well with Smith previous week.
