    On C4.
Just seems at moment programmes are trying to convert us to be vegetarians.
It is disgusting how they cage the animals though.

    sorry, can't agree with that....

all these free range animals must hate it when their time comes....spent all their life living in luxury and then it all comes to such a vicious end.
Whereas, your battery hen, spent all its existence livin knee deep in its own **** and eating its mates, well it must be a bleedin relief to have its head chopped off.............
So if we are gonna eat them, its better to treat tham bad imo.

    Different opinions mate.
I'm a meat eater again, but I dont agree with penning in animals for months so they can't move or turn around.

    He's doing the opposite

He's getting everyone to understand where the meat comes from, but that there's more to pigs than bacon and chops.

Good on him, there's nowt like a shoulder of pork or a bit of belly with cracking. I know what happens for that to end up on my table, but a lot don't. If they did, they might appreciate all the cuts and not just the packs if bacon we all get from the supermarket.

    Thought it was very good

For the sake of a few pence on a rasher of bacon, £6 for the whole pig - pigs can be kept far more humanely. And all the consumer has to do is buy British produced pork, it's not even as complicated as the chicken campaign, it's not about looking for free range and paying a far higher price - just getting home produced meat.
