    just had a text off our lasses uncle who is a chesterfield season ticket holder. we are apparantly one of 3 clubs who have bid "a substantial amount" for Jamie Ward.

    can't verify if this is true or not but wanted to pass on the info anyway.

    We shouldn't be looking to sign an inexperienced kid from division four. He's another short striker as well when we need a target man.

    I know what your saying but he looks like he can take players on and make chances for himself. Thats whats lacking from our strikers at the moment. To be fair Oddjob can do it but looks like he cant be arsed for the most part and he cant finish what he starts.
