    i'll make a prediction

He will make a few appearences, mainly as sub in games that we have no chance of winning and are creating zero chances for the strikers. He will be used on the wing a few times before being sent out on loan to a lower league side and then released.

    It's just a guess

based on what has happened to every striker to have come through the ranks at barnsley in the last 5 years (or more).

They all show promise but are then never given an extended run in the side or a chance to prove themselves. They are occasionally allowed to show their weaker points when they are played out of position in games that they have no chance of doing anything.

In fact, forget the strikers comments, change that to every players.

I don't necessarily disagree with your point - but if they're not good enough (lets face it, none of them ever really go on to do a great deal better than us) then they have to be let go. If Adam proves to be good enough, he'll be kept.

We can only hope that we are going to start taking a different approach to managing the kids after they have been developed in the academy but before they are ready for a regular first team place

    You'll have a fit

He's spent all afternoon cleaning the kitchen, and is now cooking a curry for me & him. Later he's taking the kids out!

(I by the way have been decorating!)

    Nope

Favourite haunt here is a Mongolian barbecue place. Good fun but no matter what you have it all tastes the same after a while.
