Anybody heard about us after Campbell-Rice? I've just heard the rumour but I don't know how reliable the source is.

I thought he did quite well against us last year

Gave us problems in the cup replay and the away game. Can't really remember the home league match and didn't go to the cup game away, but I thought he caused the full backs a lot of problems. But then they were Barnsley full backs...

He looks like he causes problems because he's fast - but his end product is worse than all the wingers we've had recently.

    His end-product is atrocious!

He can't cross, he can't shoot, he doesn't score goals.

People seem to judge wingers solely on how fast they are.

Squad player if he came - certainly no more than that.

That could be Kyel Reid tho, people seem to want him back, a real one trick pony

Difference is that Kyel is younger and has the potential to be changed.

The number of clubs that Jamal has been shipped around suggests that's not the case in relation to him.

Kyel Reid has one trick ,

flick it over his head and chase it.
That leaves a lot to improve on, no matter what age.

The top 100 do we have a link to that ? thanks

RE: Kyel Reid has one trick ,

Then if you're so unkeen on Reid, why Campbell-Ryce? Hes no better, possibly worse. I also don't recall saying I want Reid, but given the choice to get either of the 2 permanently, I'd take Reid.

I prefer people that try to play proper football - like Hayes. But I was in the minority on that issue too, so I'm not sure who you want me to like. Campbell-Ryce is an average League One player at best, and I'd rather have Shuker.

you can like whoever you want to , I was just pointing out that Reid had bee touted as the player we need, I would have neither of those 2. I agree Shuker was a better player than both of them.

How many times did you watch Campbell-Ryce play like? I watched him play garbage at Oakwell. I watched Devaney tear "Premiership" Gareth Bale apart. I watched him put in crosses for goals too.

What is it with Barnsley fans? If we signed Campbell-Ryce, you'd be slagging him off within 3 games and acting like you never wanted him - and if Devaney has a run of good games at the start of next season, you'll be talking about how great he is and how much you always loved him.

Campbell Ryce is ****. Fast, but ****.
