Who stays? Who goes? what positions do we need to strengthen?

My opinion. Defence ok. Liam Kitching a welcome addition to add depth if he signs from Forest Green. I am also happy with midfield as is, and hope to see Mowatt sign new contract and James loan extended until EOS. James will improve sharpness with games, and excited to see Kane and Palmer develop. I feel our main weakness is in attack. Woodrow has quality needed, but others have not yet shown enough. If Carlton Morris joins he would add depth and physicality. But we need pace in attack and goals. Unfortunately I don't feel Chaplin, Thomas, and Miller are the answers.
I feel Schmit has ability but needs an opportunity and to make it count. Adebeyojo is raw, and needs to improve. Simoes likewise. Atchison is interesting one, very much an unknown but had good reports. Could he return and be a regular ?
Finally goalie. Walton has been a revelation since coming into the side. But my confidence in backup Collins is lacking. I would like to see new addition and also think a move away would suit Collins.

In terms forwards I would really like to see us bring in a Danny Ward \ Marley Watkins type player. And possibly a Jason Scotland type player. Towards end of career to may not be 90min man but guaranteed goals and impact player (Akinfenwa doing it for Wycombe).

You do realise Wycombe are bottom and he hasn’t scored in 17 games? :D

Left Back/Wing Back is the crucial signing along with an athletic striker or two. A fully fit Jordan Williams will be like a new signing - and arguably our best performer before his injury.

I thought the old Akinfenwa dream had died once Hemsworth Tyke was removed from this forum. Please God help us if people actually think he is the answer. I would be more mobile on the pitch at 52 years old, and I would certainly have the same strike rate as him this season

I'd like us to take a punt on Issa Kallon from Cambuur. 24 year old "winger" who when I've watched them plays left of a front three in a high pressing team so would be able to play our way. Bags of pace, skill and knows where the net is.

Fair point. Akinfenwa did the business last season, but yes agree not best example. Goal return back in the championship not good. The point being an experienced goalscorer. Thinking late 20s at a stretch early 30s.

As for Williams. He is decent squad player but personally can't see him getting back into this side.

Mentioned it a few times but I'd love to see us get Randell Williams from Exeter. Could play a number of positions for us and add some real depth. Could easily play LWB, RWB or either side of the attack. Bags of pace and gets a lot of assists

We’ve left the EU. I very much doubt he would get a permit.

I was thinking of planting a new laurel hedge in the front garden, which looks a bit sterile. Also, since I'm spending almost all my time at home, I want to install a garden pond to attract more wildlife. Finally, I'd love a proper telescope so I can the rings of Uranus.

Class player and punching well below his weight in League Two, but he would fit into the positions currently occupied by either Brittain, or Styles in our midfield four, so, unless Styles were to move into central midfield, we are not short in that area. Key priority for me is another couple of strikers - two on the presumption that one, or two of Miller, or Schmidt will be moved out, probably on an initial loan. Schmidt just does not seem to fit the front three with muscle and pace style VI is looking for. When did he last play?

Yes, I think it will be UK only signings for the time being, as the sort of players we sign won't have the level of experience required to get a work visa.

Interesting call, certainly worth a goal or two and excellent on the assists front.

Definitely need another forward maybe get rid of schmidt and miller if possible.
If mowatt leaves go back for whiteman.
Wouldnt be suprised to see clubs bidding for styles.
Thomas to go out on loan.
    And hopefully simoes will too.

I’d try and trim the huge squad by 6 or 7 and then bring in a right sided centre half and a forward. It’s a window about trying to keep the better players and ridding the excess.

I know people would like us to sign a target man, but personally, I'd be looking for two mega-quick forwards instead. Someone who can get in behind the defence, and has the ability to finish at a better rate than what Chaplin is capable of.

Can't see it happening, as the value of such a player would be out of our league.

Laurel hedge will not do much for wildlife, good cover for nesting but that’s it. As you want to attract wildlife suggest you combine a mixed native hedge with your pond. Don’t let the hedge get too tall though or it’ll interfere with your view of Uranus.

Doubt we’ll sign another centre half considering Sibbick is back from his loan
