Left back is needed but I don’t really have any ideas, at the start of the season I’d of took Declan John on a free as second choice but have no clue who we’d sign atm. Who do you guys think would be plausible and beneficial signings? Edit; Just seen the injury thread. We now need to bring back shepherd and lopata or bring back shepherd and sign a CB as I don’t think pines MDG and McCarthy is going to do very well. Also need more with Jalo being out.
Aye, if we can at all. Sometimes clubs retain recall clauses and some not. I don’t feel too confident with Pines as CB. As good as he is aerially and physically, and as a character, I just don’t think we can trust him too much. Sometimes I feel his positioning is terrible and each time the balls at his feet with someone closing him down I panic. Maybe that can be managed though? I.e don’t pass to pines if he’s due under pressure and maybe get him to boot the ball long if he’s unconfident he can find a pass.
